Design & Engineering

Enterprise Wi-Fi design & wireless engineering.

Great wireless isn't installed — it's engineered. Our wireless engineering services turn building plans and usage requirements into a coverage design that actually performs under real device load.

Wireless Site Surveys

Onsite measurement of your real RF environment — walls, racking, interference, and existing coverage.

Predictive Wireless Surveys

Model coverage from floor plans before installation — ideal for new construction and pre-build planning.

Wireless Heat Mapping

Visual signal-strength maps showing exactly where coverage is strong, weak, or missing across every floor.

Coverage Analysis

Identify dead zones, weak edges, and overlap problems before they become support tickets.

Capacity Planning

Design for device density — not just square footage — so high-traffic areas don't choke at peak.

RF Spectrum Analysis

Detect non-Wi-Fi interference and channel congestion that degrade performance in busy environments.

High-Density Wireless Design

Stadiums, lecture halls, warehouses, and open offices where hundreds of clients share the airspace.

Wireless Security Assessments

WPA2/WPA3 posture, rogue AP detection, segmentation review, and guest-network isolation.

Guest Network Design

Captive portals, bandwidth controls, and full isolation from your production VLANs.

Roaming Optimization

Seamless client handoff across access points so calls and sessions never drop as people move.

Why AP placement matters: improper access point placement is the root cause of most enterprise wireless complaints. Get it wrong and you create dead zones, coverage gaps, roaming problems, excessive co-channel interference, and slow network performance — problems no amount of bandwidth can fix after the fact.

Site Surveys & Heat Mapping

Wireless site surveys & Wi-Fi heat mapping.

A wireless site survey is the difference between a network that's designed and one that's guessed. A proper Wi-Fi site survey maps your real RF environment before a single access point is mounted — we run the right type of survey for your project stage and validate it after installation.

Active Surveys

Associate to the network and measure real throughput, retransmissions, and roaming behavior.

Passive Surveys

Listen to the RF environment to map signal, noise, and interference without joining the network.

Predictive Surveys

Model coverage from CAD or floor plans before a single AP is mounted — ideal for new builds.

Post-Installation Validation

Verify the installed network matches the design and meets coverage and capacity targets.

Coverage Mapping

Floor-by-floor heat maps showing signal strength, so you can see coverage instead of assuming it.

Signal Strength Analysis

Quantify RSSI and SNR across the space to confirm every zone has usable signal.

Channel Utilization

Measure how congested each channel is and plan a channel scheme that avoids self-interference.

Interference Detection

Find rogue APs, microwave/Bluetooth noise, and neighboring networks dragging down performance.

Capacity Testing

Validate the network holds up under real device counts in high-density areas at peak load.

Site surveys reduce future support costs. A few hours of wireless coverage analysis up front prevents the recurring truck rolls, emergency calls, and re-cabling that come from a guessed AP layout. It's the cheapest insurance in the entire wireless project — and it's why we lead with it.

Ceiling-Mounted APs

Clean, code-compliant ceiling installs for offices, clinics, and retail floors.

Warehouse APs

High-bay and racking-aware placement engineered for signal in tough RF environments.

Outdoor Wireless APs

Weatherized coverage for yards, lots, courtyards, and campus walkways.

Ultra-high-density designs for arenas, auditoriums, and event spaces.

Hospitality APs

In-room and common-area coverage for hotels, resorts, and guest Wi-Fi.

Retail APs

Sales-floor and stockroom coverage that supports POS, scanners, and guest access.

Healthcare APs

Reliable coverage for clinical devices, EHR access, and staff mobility.

Multi-Building Campuses

Coordinated coverage and roaming across multiple structures under one design.

Wireless is only as good as what's behind it. Every access point needs structured cabling and, for multi-building or high-AP-count sites, a fiber backbone. We handle the cabling and uplinks too — see our fiber optic installation & repair services to tie it all together.
Supported Platforms

Supported wireless manufacturers.

We're vendor-flexible. We design and deploy on the platform that fits your project, budget, and the team that will run it — not whatever a single vendor sells.

FAQ

Enterprise Wi-Fi questions, answered.

A wireless site survey measures your building's real RF environment to design coverage that performs. It can be predictive (modeled from floor plans before installation), passive (listening to signal and interference), or active (associated to the network to measure real throughput and roaming). The result is a heat map and an access point placement plan that eliminates guesswork.

It depends on far more than square footage — construction materials, ceiling height, device density, and the applications you run all matter. A warehouse with metal racking needs a very different design than an open office of the same size. That's why we lead with a wireless site survey and capacity plan: it tells us exactly how many APs you need and where they go, rather than over- or under-buying hardware.

Wi-Fi heat mapping is a visual, color-coded map of signal strength across your floor plan. Strong coverage shows as one color and weak or dead zones as another, so you can see coverage instead of assuming it. We produce heat maps during the survey to plan AP placement and again after installation to validate the design.

It depends on your device mix and density. Wi-Fi 6E adds the clean 6 GHz band, which is excellent for dense environments with lots of interference. Wi-Fi 7 adds even higher throughput and Multi-Link Operation for future-proofing. If your current hardware is Wi-Fi 5 or older and you're seeing congestion, an upgrade usually pays off quickly. We'll assess your environment and recommend the right standard — and handle the migration with no business downtime.

Yes. Multi-site rollouts are a core strength. We standardize the wireless design across every location, coordinate scheduling through a dedicated project manager, and dispatch onsite technicians nationwide so each site is installed and validated consistently — whether you have 3 locations or 300.

Yes — we provide onsite wireless installation, troubleshooting, and Smart Hands support in all 50 states, with 24/7/365 emergency dispatch for wireless outages. Our Atlanta operations center coordinates field technicians nationwide.

Absolutely. We diagnose and resolve slow Wi-Fi, dead zones, interference, dropped connections, authentication and WPA2/WPA3 issues, roaming problems, SSID and VLAN misconfigurations, controller faults, and AP firmware issues — on virtually any major platform, whether or not we installed it.

Yes. Warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities are some of the most demanding RF environments — high ceilings, metal racking, and moving inventory all affect signal. We engineer high-density and high-bay wireless designs specifically for these spaces, including coverage for scanners, forklift-mounted devices, and IoT sensors.
